Emerging Climate Champions Award| Enlight Foundation and The Patchwork Collective
Objective:
To provide $25 million in flexible, multiyear gifts of $1 million each to youth-led organizations around the world that are advancing climate solutions, with special attention to under-resourced or under-represented communities. The award centers youth voices and local contexts for climate action.
Application deadline:
- Registration deadline: August 15, 2025, 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time
- Application deadline: September 22, 2025, 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time
Eligibility criteria:
Organizations must:
- Be youth-led (ages 15–35; meet at least two of the three leadership conditions)
- Have a primary mission related to climate solutions
- Have been in operation for at least two years as of August 15, 2025
- Be structured as a nonprofit, NGO, tribal government (U.S.), or foreign equivalent of a 501(c)(3)
Countries covered:
Global (no geographic restrictions; international applicants welcome, including Indigenous-led, women-led, grassroots organizations)
Project duration:
Multiyear (not specified; the gift is flexible and long-term)
Grant amount:
$1 million per organization (flexible, multiyear)

- Evaluation includes Administrative Review, Participatory Review, and Panel Review
- Applications will be assessed based on experience, impact potential, durability, and community-led approach
- Language support (Spanish, French, Bahasa Indonesia) and translation resources available for preparation
- Awardees will be announced by Fall 2026
