Call for Proposals: Understanding and Influencing Humanitarian Decision-Making| The UK Humanitarian Innovation Hub (UKHIH)
Objective
To strengthen the capacity of humanitarian actors to understand and strategically engage with complex decision-making environments by analysing political dynamics, institutional norms, informal power relations, and behavioural factors that influence humanitarian decisions.

Eligibility criteria
- Legally registered organisation
- Open to NGOs, research centres, academic institutions, and private entities
- Demonstrated experience in applied research, policy analysis, humanitarian systems, stakeholder engagement
- Ability to deliver two clear outputs: a mapping of decision-making structures and a practical learning tool
Eligible countries
No geographic restrictions. Research may focus on humanitarian contexts in East Africa and the Middle East.

From September 2025 to January 2026

Up to £40,000 GBP
