Ending Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in Public Spaces, in the Context of Work and Tertiary Educational Settings in Bangladesh| UN Women
Objective
To prevent and respond to sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in workplaces, tertiary educational institutions and public spaces in Bangladesh by transforming institutional practices and harmful social norms through the Whole-of-School approach.

Eligibility criteria
- Only NGOs registered in Bangladesh can apply as lead organizations
- Consortium applications are allowed; international NGOs (e.g., French NGOs) may participate as non-lead partners
- At least 10 years of operation and 5 years of relevant experience in GBV prevention, gender equality and coordination
- Proven collaboration with national/local government and experience in educational or transport sectors is preferred

Bangladesh (national level + 5 districts: Bogura, Jamalpur, Khulna, Kurigram, Patuakhali)
Project duration
34 months (1 August 2025 – 30 June 2028)
Grant amount
Between BDT 45,000,000 and BDT 46,500,000

Additional information
The action is part of the EU-funded ESGBV project. Applications must include a technical proposal, result framework, detailed workplan, sustainability and risk mitigation strategies, budget, and CVs of the proposed team. Relevant tools such as the RESPECT framework and Women’s Safety Audit are to be adapted.
