Hulo Fundraising Specialist – Foundations and Trusts

Background

The Humanitarian Logistics Cooperative, also known as « hulo », is the first humanitarian logistics cooperative, founded in June 2021. Its members are humanitarian organisations whose numbers are growing every year. Its objective is to increase the impact of humanitarian aid by strengthening links and solidarity between humanitarian logistics actors and improving performance through the pooling of resources and expertise in logistics and supply chain. Hulo’s « joint initiatives » are developed both globally and in different countries. The activities in the field include shared purchasing, shared human resources, an app allowing the pooling of resources, and shared environmental initiatives. These initiatives save time and money, improve the quality of goods and services provided, and thus provide more effective assistance to those who need it most.https://hulo.coop/

Now, as we enter our 4th year, we have successfully completed our initial proof of concept period and are seeing increasing demand for our activities.  The humanitarian sector, now more than ever, needs support and collective action to optimise and reduce costs. Hulo, as a key enabler of this work, needs support to reach scale, in many more countries, so that we can continue to bring value and impact for our organisations and their beneficiaries.  We are seeking a fundraising specialist to support us in these efforts and to work collaboratively with the team to develop and diversify our funding streams.
