Grantmaking | Avery Dennison Foundation
Objective: Support and build partnerships with nonprofit/non-governmental organizations in communities across the globe, with an emphasis on geographies of high need. Grantmaking aligns with the UN SDGs in three impact areas:
- Education Access: addressing inequitable access to primary and secondary education among marginalized communities, reducing barriers and increasing enrollment, and providing direct education opportunities to underserved populations.
- Environmental Sustainability: improving environmental sustainability through climate resilience, mitigation and adaptation, educating communities on responsible care of the environment, and supporting projects that contribute to community well-being.
- Secure Livelihoods: increasing access to economic opportunities for marginalized populations, supporting workforce development, entrepreneurship, vocational training, job readiness, and reducing barriers to meaningful employment.
Deadline: Year-round, funding decisions made quarterly.
Eligibility criteria: Nonprofit and non-governmental organizations. ADF does not sponsor conferences, fundraisers, special events, scholarships, for-profits, religious groups for religious purposes, political organizations, institutional endowments, or organizations that discriminate.
Countries covered: Global, with emphasis on geographies of high need (outside the United States).
Project duration: Not specified.
Grant amount: Typically $50,000–$100,000.
