French-Philippine NGOs Call for Proposals 2020 [fr]
Since 2007, the Embassy of France to the Philippines has been launching an annual call for project proposals for the benefit of disadvantaged communities.
The following associations have been awarded: Alouette in 2007, TNK in 2008, Les Augustins de l’Assomption in 2009, Fondation Enfance in 2010, Caméléon in 2011, Passerelles Numériques in 2012, Water & Life in 2013, Solidarités International 2014, the Fondation Enfance in 2015, Enfants du Mekong in 2016, Fondation Virlanie in 2017, Entrepreneurs du Monde (1st laureate) and Water & Life (2nd laureate) in 2018, Anak-Tnk Foundation (1st laureate) and Phil’Rouge (2nd laureate) en 2019.
The call for proposals 2020 is open from July 10 to August 15, 2020 to the associations of the Franco-Philippine NGO network. In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is important for the project or activity proposals to benefit a disadvantaged community or social group directly affected by this health crisis, or assist them in responding to issues caused by it. Proposals are not limited to a particular theme - these can be related to health, the environment, education, or social issues.
Two NGOs will be awarded this year. Following the evaluation of these projects, the first awardee will receive a total financial grant worth PHP 300 000 from the Embassy of France to the Philippines, while the second awardee will receive a total financial grant worth PHP 100 000.
