About the position:
Our field technical managers are at the heart of our work. They actively manage and lead our national staff teams to carry out our rescue work safely. PSSM / AMD Field Technical Officers deal with national and local defense and security authorities, including the police and the military, on the management of weapons and ammunition stockpiles. Operations focused on construction, arsenal design and management, SALW needs assessment and mass demolition. They are responsible for the day-to-day management of their technical work, including administration, finance, equipment procurement, reports and planning.Roles can often be distant, work in difficult contexts, far from the comforts of home, but the impact of work on the lives of local communities is very real and rewarding. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the day-to-day work of MAG’s rescue work.
Ideally, you must be qualified and experienced in weapons management and destruction. However, we will also have the necessary experience and experience in the military sector, a high degree of interest and the desire to acquire the skills required to perform the work of weapons management and destruction.
