Australian Government – Development Activities in Tunisia
The Direct Aid Program (DAP) is a financial aid program that seeks to promote the development of activities in Tunisia. It is managed by the Australian Embassy, which is located in Malta. This program aims to alleviate basic humanitarian challenges and is an integral component of Australia’s overseas development program.
What sort of projects are fund?
Are welcome high quality applications that will support development and strengthen communities in Tunisia across all sectors. This year the program is especially looking for projects that will support development through :
- Gender equality and women’s empowerment
- Community health
- Environment/climate change
- Community development
Regardless of the type of project, all applicants should consider the impact of the project on women, children or other disadvantaged groups, such as people with disabilities.
Projects must run for no longer than 12 months and should be self-sustainable beyond the term of the grant, or completed by the end of the project duration. DAP funds can not be used, under any circumstances, to pay staff involved in the project.
Application deadline : 2 August, 2022 at midnight (TEC), end of day.
Funding : max. AUD 10,000
