At the heart of collective NGO organization, Coordination SUD endeavours to contribute to NGOs’ collective life and foster the evolution and optimization of collective organization in France, and make the coherence and complementarity of the various groups visible to avoid useless competition, foster synergy, and allow NGOs and government authorities to build organized dialogue.
Coordination SUD acts as a bridge between geographic and thematic platforms, regional groups through the intermediary of CRID, and other collective arenas and actors.
It also ensures regular exchange with NGOs active in the environment and the defence of human rights, as well as with other actors involved in international solidarity: unions, territorial collectivities (Cités Unies France), and researchers and universities around the world.
It notably works in conjunction with Action Mondiale Contre la Pauvreté (AMCP), and in connection with the Conférence Permanente des Coordinations Associatives (CPCA).
